Review of The Trumpeter of Krakow by Eric Kelly

The Polish history is a very interesting one. That is why Eric Kelly author of The Trumpeter of Krakow chooses to write about it. He loves the culture and history of medieval Poland. The story The Trumpeter of Krakow is partly true. One day in the thirteenth century a boy really did fulfilling his oath to sound the Heynal four times every hour. He was shot in the chest by an invading Tartar and never finished the hymn. To this day trumpeters in The Church of our Lady Mary stop the heynal at the broken note.
